INSTRUCTION:
We have learnt about imperative sentences. An imperative sentence does not have a subject, but it must have a verb. An imperative sentence will function as a command, a warning, an instruction or a direction. Also we have 2 types of imperative sentences: negative imperative and affirmative imperative.
In this exercise, you are asked to write at least 10 imperative sentences. When you go home or go to work, notice what kind of imperative sentences are being used in your surroundings. Write down the ideas and the situations (who is talking to whom), then translate them into English. When you have enough English sentences, send them to me in an email.
Look at this example:
Wash your hands first (Mother to son).
You will write at least 10 sentences like this, and send them to me ASAP (as soon as possible).
