Settings
* Student level: Elementary or lower* Student variety: mixed ages, mixed jobs
* Total students: 20 and more
* This is a communication class. However, it can be done in any other class to consolidate their pronunciation of the alphabet
Planning
* Aims: pronunciation of the Alphabet, Recognition and Writing the Alphabet correctly* Time: app. 30 mins
* Requirements: 2 sheets of papers for 2 teams, markers, white board
stages
* Introduction: (cultural knowledge) Schindler's list is a list of those Jewish people who were rescued by Schindler during the Holocaust.* Revision: Get the students to put the alphabets in columns according to their sounds
* Instruction:
** Make two groups
** Get the groups to write their names on a paper, with ordinal numbers
** Exchange the papers
** Line up the students
** The first student of the line holds the list, read the number and spell the names, 3 letters at a time.
** The next student listens and repeat the spellings to the next student
** The last student write on the board
** The group with the most correct name wins

The activity go wrong at the point the students take turn to spell the name. They will shout the spellings right to the writer instead of whispering to the next person. So immediately I change the plan accordingly
