A real web quest is meant to include extensive reading and synthesizing ideas. This task has the format of a web quest, but it actually provides instructions to install and use a learning software. Apart from teachers, learners of English can also follow the directions to teach themselves how to take advantages of this handy tool.

This task is inspired by Elke, my instructor in ALTM unit, Canberra University. During that one week working with the class, she kept reminding us:
Mention it [a learning tool] is not enough. You must tell them how to use it.
Also, she found the idea of using Clicktionary as a learning tool practically useful for English learners.

Concerning the context, this task can be used for pre-intermediate learners or higher, who can read and understand the instruction. Starters can also find this task useful, but the teacher will need to provide an L1 instruction instead.

Happy teaching,
